I saw them do a 75 on their Facebook page.

Frankly it was an abortion yet the customer seemed happy not having a clue they had created more moisture traps than helped the car.

Good morning Colin,

It is impossible to create moisture trap with Krown rust inhibitor T40

Please see the video.

I would whole heartedly disagree.

Drilling holes all over the car, filling with inhibitor and surface spraying. The inside of a rover 75 doors especially and here we can see one of the staff spraying.

The inside of the doors rust, the frames rust, the window sliders rust, this is what spreads through out the door. This will not allow for proper protection and as anyone who's had a door card off will report moisture in the doors always. Unless you have removed that again your trapping moisture under your product.

This is not rust prevention it's a surface protection. And this style of application is not efficient on our cars. This is more akin to spray and pray.

4 months since treatment? Well as you can see the majority of the factory treated areas are fine however if that's a set of rear arms /subframe after 4 months of treatment then I would be deeply concerned as it's either failed or is developing under your coat.

Was the subframe cleaned and treated before fitting or again is this just a surface spray.

I appreciate this was the before of said car, but again to me a application of rust converter, then paint protection never mind a rust preventer after.

Again this looks like a spray and pray inside the wing. Not even rims and mud guards off.

And now finally the best example of how badly done.

The bonnet sound deadening hasn't even been removed, one of the worst areas for moisture traps on our cars receiving no treatment at all.

Now I know how well Krust works, I've saw it in effect and have a lot of respect for the products.

I don't however have the respect for this method of application and I would seriously recommend any member of the club considers this before their own purchase unless some significant reassurances can be given.

Default Krown Rust proofing.

Just had my 04 75 done. Well impressed with the service. Though I would recommend driving home with the windows open even if only a little - even on the motorway - I know - increased fuel consumption and exhaust fumes of cars around you. The harmless odour of the T40 in the cabin left me feeling a little light headed after the drive.

Default Dinitrol 4941 underseal

In the past i've always treated my 2005 Contemporary SE 75 with Waxoyl every few years. But earlier this year spoke to a chap selling Dinitrol at the NEC Resto show. I'm thinking of trying the product. I've found on this website in litre schutz type cans so I can use my compressor https://www.tiltrak.com/product/dini...ody-underseal/ However it's a bit more expensive than Waxoyl so want to make sure it's worth it.

Used T40 on mine last year 2018, went for a MOT this year 2019 straight through no welding at all, i went underneath my car too rock solid, That T40 does work from Canada, they use it on the Police cars in British columbia.

I went back three week ago, to have a top up spray too and still just as good, and due to having two new parts underneath they were blasted too inside and out, it definitely works T40 at KROWN

I looked at a lot of options and spoke to several companies. I like the fact Krown is clear so you can see what is going on. I've had rust form under waxoyl. Nothing to lose by giving it a try so am booked in Aug 3rd. I shall take pics etc.
