Sorry, lovely car & lovely colour and all that... But you're almost in E60 M5 territory (some M5s sell for around this) and I know which I'd rather have! The 260 is a gorgeous car; but it's a big, underpowered lump IMO... That's this cars biggest achilles heel! I know its horses for courses, but £12.5k is a bit of a joke price IMO |

The big difference is a 260 can be run relatively cheaply compared with what it costs to run a BMW.
Also another consideration is depreciation, values of 260 seem to be going up at the moment so potentially you could drive one for a couple of years and as long as you look after it potentially it could cost you very little. |
