Have had it done to me.
Doesn't justify setting fire to someone.
Or sending the heavies in.[/QUOTE. That's just playground talk.. None of us would ACTUALLY set fire or send the heavies round, as Phil said , don't take it seriously , it's just a way of letting off steam. I would likely say the same thing in Minty's position.. Bear in mind we are all enthusiasts on here, and very proud of our cars, so anything that spoils them is met with anger.

Read twice before you post anything.
The person responsible may read this, its www you know.
Thank you for answering my question.
Now I am a bit puzzled by your last 2 lines.

"Read twice before you post anything."

Is that comment aimed at me?

"The person responsible may read this, it's www you know."

I am afraid to say, I have'nt a clue who the responsible person is. Are you implying that the vandal giving Minty the problem, visits the forum?

Well, it's a bit worse than that, you can get ''burned out'' over here for being police - this was last month, any search engine will find you a lot more if you're so minded.

And for clarity, Colin never said he would burn anybody out - he simply made the point that our ''social workers'' don't tolerate people who behave like the OP's neighbour.

Thanks for pointing out what Colin said. What he wrote, I found educational. In fact Colin has written up a lot of helpful and useful car enthusiast information over the years I read the link you posted up about the police being burnt out of their homes. How shocking and traumatic for all concerned.

Congratulations for your 1000th post!
