Default Intermittent Heater Problem

Does anyone know what might cause an intermittent heater problem - the heater works for a while then stops working. Starts working again a few days later and sometimes even after going over a bump in the road will start working. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

The brushes are worn out on the blower motor, and it's a pig to replace the motor.

Sorry about that

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply so quickly. At least I know what the problem is now.

It's not an easy fix though Angela, the steering column and pedal box need to come out to change it.

Cossie Dunc in Whitburn is your man for this sort of double jointed work

Dunc can also be contacted by PM here. Myself and a lot of members in Central Scotland would happily recommend him.
