My mate has work van wrapped when it was brand new in his company graphics. When he came to sell it 4 years on the paint looked brand new as it had never had any sunlight on it.

A good wrap can cost anywhere from £1000 (basic outside no door shuts) all the way upto £2000 for door shuts/inside the doors etc etc.
Its not a cheap thing to do, it protects the paint and usually lasts 3-4yrs without hassle. Is resilliant to stone chips and is easily re-applied if a panel needs wrapping again. But its the cost its no cheap venture having it done properly. Im still not 100% convinced but i have to admit the colour choice with wrap is much better and cheaper when compared to a respray.

I presume you have to declare it to your insurer as a mod since you will have changed the colour of your car?
