The kid next door had him brand new Corsa wrapped, cost him £400 and it looked awful.

When he removed the wrap it was covered in scratches.

My son's friend had his car wrapped - it looked ridiculous.

Spend the money on paint imho

That is a nice job Tom

What made you decide to get it wrapped?

Having been someone who is dead against wrap, finally seeing my friends car (an Audi A4 done in Nardo Grey)
It changed my opinion.

It can be expensive but the colour options are amazing and if layerd on properly will genuinely protect the paint, also matte colours are SOOO easy to clean, literally wash and dry quickly no water marks and looks perfect.

I have just had the wrap changed on the merc, its getting done now (orginal colour was white) so the new colour wrap is Ocean Shimmer Blue
Example here

Having a motor wrapped is fine IF the paintwork is good beforehand. If you have bad paintwork, then the wrapping will look bad.

What happens to the door shuts, inside the boot lid and bonnet? Are they wrapped, or do they remain the original colour? If the latter, that'd put me off, definitely, but the same would apply for a colour change respray, I suppose.
