Great film, great soundtrack. Haven't seen the remake, wouldn't want to see the remake . . . . and on that subject, what idiot at the BBC decided to have another go at "Porridge"

It's a sequel rather than a remake and continues 20 or so years after the original with some original cast. They managed to keep the feel of the enviroment about right and the soundtrack was still in keeping but it just didn't quite grab me like the first but still definately worth a watch.

Good evening Dawn and Julien
How is the holiday with the family going?

The district nurses are the ones who have the power to arrange O2 in the community and should be battling for Derek. There is a “twilight service” for after hours emergencies. I posted up their number and it’s in the OC archives. It was going to delay his discharge from Hospital arranging for him to have O2 therapy at home, then miraculously Derek didn’t need it and he was then promptly discharged. An appalling conclusion to the great treatment he had received right up until that last moment. Of course Derek deserves much better, he deserves the best.

Hi Phil how are things at home, yes he does deserve better treatment, they seem to have deserted him, the holiday is fine it was in the mid seventies today we were down on the beach having a great time, went out last for a meal and I had the biggest fillet steak I have seen in a long time, served on a sizzling stone, asked for it rare that way I could cut pieces off and sear it myself,
We are back home next Wednesday, travelling back home to pick our other grandaughter up and bringing her home for a couple of days.

See you soon.

Good morning Jeff, can you ask Stu to send me a new invite to our Literary group since I am on a different number. Is that how it works or do I have to pm
the new number?
