Had a few drops of rain around 7.00 this morning, but that's now stopped and we've got clear blue skies and warm sunshine. Taking the missus to Par Market this morning, and then into Mevagissey for afternoon tea - I've found somewhere that offers gluten-free Cornish Cream Teas

It's getting hot here now, I've just mowed the grass & I'm soaked with sweat. Just going to have a shower then it's Dads eye appointment at Bolton. He's having another injection in the eyeball.

Default Schynige Platte

Today we took the Funicular railway to the top Schynige Pltte, nearly 2000 metres. It took almost an hour to get there, scenery was so stunning, will try and upload some photos when we get home.

Afternoon all, It's been really sunny & warm this afternoon. I've been bagging up some garden waste to take to the tip, bit of a begger not having a tow bar on this car since I SORN'd the Rover.

Sounds very nice indeed Rev, a bit like the screen play from James Bond's Goldfinger film.

I think I've overcooked myself! Been working in brilliant sunshine in the garden all afternoon repairing the steps up to the back garden. My face and arms now feel like they are glowing!
