Sunday at Hartside - Page 5

Well I got there about 12.45 & sat on one of the seats overlooking the valley below & watched a cyclist make fantastic time climbing the hill

After a while I was beginning to think nobody was coming & it was just a big wind up like the last time but then in the distance I saw the silver vixen so I sat & watched it meander it's way up the pass. When John & Jan arrived I went to stand up & realised I had frozen to the bench

but I was able to break free without much of a struggle

Soon after the other 2 cars turned up so we went in the cafe for a cuppa & a bite to eat & then sat outside in the cars for a while & had a natter then headed off our separate ways

I topped the day off with a run down into Weardale & to see a mate of mine & took him for a birthday pint
