Of course it depends compared to what.
I bet a cooling fan for a Fiesta isn't three hundred quid!. Relatively to 'average' the spares will be pricey. But then the car was better than average, and the parts to make it cost more than average. |

I wonder if anyone else thinks this bit of the article is true?
"Remember, 75s produced by MG Rover at Longbridge are better than those built by BMW at Oxford, and the handling is superior, too. The easiest way to distinguish a Longbridge example is that they have body-coloured sills rather than the Oxford-made cars' black ones." I've got one of each and I prefer the Cowley 75 to the Logbidge one, it just seems more comfortable, there again, it was made before Project Drive kicked in, so that could account for a lot of the differences, but I'd be ibterested in your thoughts Andrew
