Its the fact he was ready to naff off that is annoying. Deliberately trying to cover up his error - i.e. fibbing. If you make a mistake hold your hand up. If you try and conceal it you get whats coming. Well done for taking him to task

Corner of the scuttle panel. Snapped clean off and glued back in place. (Probably hoping I wouldn't notice or say "Nah, that's fine mate - it's only an old Rover").

My local(ish) breakers have 3 or 4 in - albeit still fitted to cars
Trouble is these things don't travel well with couriers
And they're quite a way from you
