Default Suspension advice please.

I've been having a problem recently hitting the numerous speed bumps with the under tray. Obviously the more it happens, the greater the "give" in the tray will be. This has only just started to happen and my local garage say the springs are OK.
It's a fifteen year old car with a heavy engine and, to be honest, it seems a bit low at the front to me. Does anyone know if there's any criteria for checking the height of the front of the car.
Cheers

Gosh, that was quick Suzublu. Thank you very much for that. A session with the tape measure now required.

I've just noticed your location. Next time i'm playing golf up there i'll give you a shout and we can have a drink together. Once again, many thanks.

Thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as threads get ‘lost’ very quickly in the General Forum.
