Thanks for your thoughts guys

But the cars are now beyond economic repair. Some minor bits are salvageable, and Tom (Jumper75) will be putting those on e-bay in due course.

Totally gutted as both cars only needed minor cosmetics and some basic work to get them through the MoT which was on the cards to do

Unfortunately neither I nor Tom have the inclination, ot time, to attempt any further salvage, so soon they will go the scrapyard in the sky.......

I will miss her...... RIP Damson Red.....

Global warming? No just weather. Sorry that you have suffered this loss Andrew, but I am glad it was not me. Mind you, I would be worried if it was me, we are 650 feet above sea level, so should be okay unless it gets any worse.

Today my car and Jumper75's went to the great scrap heap in the sky. They were a joy to own, despite the issues..... The most comfortable cars we had ever owned..... But that is now in the past I would like to thank, on behalf of Tom and nyself, for the warm welcome and interaction that we received from this great Club. We wish you all the best for the future and enjoy your cars. But for me & Tom the Rover joy is now over .....
My dream car, if I had the money...... Rover 75 V8 with super-charger.in BRG........ Well I can dream......

Been away from the forum for a couple of years so I've just seen this awful post and pictures

Absolutely gutted for you Andrew.

I sincerely hope you find the money for your dream car

Remember a period of bad luck is often followed by good

The wheel turns as they say.

All the best, Lee

Just seen your photo's as I haven't been around on the forum for a couple of months.

Not a good sight and not nice to lose your cars.

I would be heartbroken if it was me as I get quite attached to the cars I own.

I hope you have moved whatever vehicles you do have left as the weather over today and the next few days is going to be deplorable.
