Default Connecting to FBH Using Webasto software

Would anyone know if I am right in thinking that I could use an obdII connector with:

Battery + to pin 16 on OBDII
Battery Ground to Pin 4 on OBDII
FBH pin 2 to Pin 7 OBDII

in order to connect directly to the FBH so that I could run the webasto diagnosis program to check the heater on the bench?

Just about to give it a try in the shed.
I did find an answer to a question on YouTube that confirmed the connections above.
I will confirm on here if successful.

Well I tried last night but could not get Comms on the bench.
I then tried to hook up with car and no Comms there either. I had previously been able to connect with TOAF .
I have ordered another KKL 409.1 and will try again when it arrives.

Hi Brian

Long time no see hope you are well, I use an interface to run the Webasto Thermis Test software, and not tried via the OBD
If you need any help please pm me as myself and Devilish have been fixing Webastos for a while now and can pretty much diagnose whats wrong without using the software and we have spares if you need anything

Great to hear from you Rob!
Long time no see I trust that you and the Nano crew are doing well.

Update:
After nicking the Battery from Manda's 75 as the one I was using to power up was a bit suspect I discovered that the baud rate for the com port was set at 4800 baud.
I changed that to 9600 baud and bingo it connected fine.
So I can confirm that the Webasto WTT software is fine to use with a KKL 409.1 with the connections mentioned in my first post.
The result of diagnosis is that I seem to have a higher resistance on the glow plug than it should be!
At first it did not even start the dosing pump as it is detecting a flame as it is initially switched on. After a bit of whirring it went into shutdown.
After testing the glow plug through the software for a few seconds I restarted the unit.
It fired up got right up to temperature, went to half load then idle. During that period it did a flame detection and detected flame when there should not be and went into shutdown.
So I am in the market for a replacement glow plug it seems.
If you have one could you let me know please Rob.
It is good to be able to see what is actually happening using the software so that is an up.
Brian
