Default 260 #323

So much fun in this car from 2007 to 2018...may a similar car soon appear on the drive once more!

Nice, it looks like it might be a dealer launch car, though I haven’t checked yet.

Thanks, I'll be interested to hear. Even if it's not, it's a lovely car, and the contrast between the Wedgwood Blue on the outside and the Neptune Blue interior is beautiful. It seems to be in pretty good condition, with just a few cosmetic tasks which I might be able to sort myself over the winter. Right now it's tucked up under the same cover which the 260 used to wear!

Funnily enough, that same 260 is for sale again, but the price seems pretty optimistic and even if I could stretch to it, there's no way that a second period of ownership would be as much fun as the first! Likewise, there was a beautiful two-tone green 75 on sale recently, which I went to see, but I couldn't justify the extra expense (much less than the 260, but still over three times the price of the one I have bought).

Default Dealer Launch Model?

Does the car have EXACTLY these specifications:

Neptune Blue Leather Seats
Highline Sat Nav with TV screen in the centre of the dash
No Auto Dipping review mirror
No Parking sensors
Automatic gearbox
2.5 V6 engine
Traction control
Cruise control
15 inch Crown Alloy Wheels
Electric rear sun blind
Power wash headlamps
Drivers electric memory seat
Electric Sunroof
Highline instrument pack with message centre between the speedo and rev counter including trip computer option?

Thanks for the link. I think the answer is yes - it certainly has most of those features, lacks the ones it should lack, but not sure about a couple (haven't played with the seat functions yet other than to put it in the right position for me, and how do I tell if it has traction control?!). The screen on the centre dash doesn't work (I knew that when I bought it) so I don't know if this is Highline Satnav or not.

Either way, it's very close to the spec of a launch car, and I'm looking forward to the spring when I can enjoy the car properly! Pedant question - as a Cowley car owner, will I be welcome at POL, or should the Black Sill Brigade stay away?!

I think he means the television where the radio should be, above the A/C and heating controls.
