Good morning one and all
Only a very light frosting on the cars this morning and that has soon vanished now a little high cloud with the sunshine popping through from time to time.
Made my first phone call since our move to our local medical centre this morning with a query about Mrs Gs prescription, phone was answered in under 4 mins. Just wondered if this is a post Covid record

Have you any suggestions? Is there something I can make up to attach to a tree some way off from the house the flies would go to?

Morning Phil, You cant beat a good supply of cow/horse manure for the garden plants, I'm going to be clearing an area in the front garden & putting manure down ready for flowers this year, I've not been able to get down to the well rotted muck pile where our daughter stables her horse because the ground is too boggy, You cant even push a wheelbarrow over it without sinking & it's a good walk to it.

Flies sunning themselves on the glass, Two of our cats are on permanent fly patrol in the Summer, They dive head first into the window to scare away flies that land on the conservatory windows outside

I suppose an hessian sack with manure hung up on the tree might tempt them away. I was going to sow some Sweet pea seeds I saved from last year & put them in the cold frame but it's too cold & damp out there today for me.
Feet up in front of the fire day for me.

Our surgery has an automated system that answers the phone quickly enough but then you can go and make a coffee while it plods through a ponderous recorded message about this, that and everything before you get the option to speak to someone.

Had to drag myself away from the front of the fire to do the shopping, Daughter still has our car for another week yet until hers is repaired & as she works half day on Fridays I thought I'll grab the chance to do it now instead of having to do it at night time.

Ging's away to see friends down in the Lake District so I'm amusing myself watching Genesis Live In Rome back in 2007, one of the things on my Sky hard drive. Kinda how I like to remember Phil Collins rather than he is now.

I've got the MG ZS plugged in on the driveway & the MG badge pulsates whilst it's charging, It's like the Hal 9000 red eye from the Space Odyssey is watching you through the kitchen window Banger's, mash & baked beans for tea.

Just watch out, one day you might try to do something and get the response "I'm sorry Ian. I'm afraid I can't do that"

Evening all, fire lit, dinner cooking and a cold Guinness on the go.

And a daft border collie rolling around like a lunatic...

Morning all… if anyone is about, don’t blame you if your all hibernating, it’s freezing outside.
