I don't mind them reporting news, it's all the speculation that annoys me! I want to know what has happened and not what might happen.

I disagree. Provided it is clear what is news of actual occurrence and is differentiated form speculation in the reporting, both are of equal value. As an example, there is much speculation about what could happen in Ukraine and the many possible scenarios. An intelligent reader should be interested in all of those in order to assimilate and arrive at his/her own view (speculation) of what may happen or should happen.

[QUOTE=Borg Warner;2919283]It's not so much what they report it is the manner it is carried out. The words they use, the bias they portray.
They Guardian is quite bad, and the the Daily Mail is only bettered by the Beano. As for the BBC? There was an interview this morning by the very nice Anita McVey with a Government transport minister(?). He came on to discuss the loss of revenue from the increase in electric cars. McVey very quickly turned the discussion around to the Prime Minister, certain comments he made about the leader of the opposition as well as the recent resignations of staff. Chap was quite good with his replies to be fair, giving her no where to go. Which is a very good talent to have. Can't see anything perfidious in that. |

Giving it a bit more than a passing thought I think he will come through it all- big tory majority, brexit, covid, and apart from those idiots who have put their principles before their brains the rest want to keep their jobs, general elections are risky and I think those who have run him down will rue the day. If I was Boris(Iwish) I would have a really good clear out- night of the long knives fashion. and bring back capital punishment. Chris.S.

When.
He should start to worry when they replace his ministerial car with a 75 that has a K series in it...

I just saw the funny side of that. Nothing wrong with a diesel though.
As for the politics, I agree, shouldn't really be on here

I agree. He's not streamlined enough for a K-series powered car. Now, LiZ truss or Nadine Dories, yes, they are definitely 1.8k material!
