Morning everyone.

Back home following a weekend up North for son's surprise 30th birthday party.

He was totally stitched up - didn't get any idea and knew nothing about it until he walked into the venue ..

Respect to all his friends to have kept him in the dark so well.

For some reason we didn't get to see him on Sunday . Something about him being tired and not feeling too good .

Picked exactly the wrong time to walk Quizzie. Rather breezy with horizontal hail and properly cold. Soon followed by just stupidly strong gusts of wind and then.....

Beautiful sunshine .

Quizzie wasn't keen on the hail but soon forgot about it when the river beckoned

Currently bright and calm here. But temp is only 3 degrees.

Keep warm and stay safe.

PS. Andy - we have a spare kettle.... but it'll be cold by the time I get to you

Morning all,

Just back from the school run, wife tested positive for Covid over the weekend, myself and kids have tested negative so far, so just been mucking in, making sure the kids stay away or keep a distance, making the meals with varying degrees of success (burnt pizza last night).

Took the kids out yesterday to pretty little borders town of Peebles in the family wagon (Skoda Fabia Estate 3 cylinder) and as much as I love the 75 there is just something about having a little buzz box and a manual gearbox to have a wee hoon, empty country roads tooting sheep in the fields and having the kids in giggles.
