I've had to make a choice today between 17" Avons and Goodyear Eagle F1's for my 200 coupe.
Price wise Avon's £85 and F1's £110 each. Ive had F1's fitted since 2004 and have always felt very safe with them in all weather conditions. So although being £100 a set more I opted to stick with the F1's following a chat about the pros and cons of both with the tyre depot manager, who I know and trust

Going with what you know to be good is rarely the wrong choice.

I have had both with the Goodyears being my preference. We have had Avons on three cars and no issue. If the cost difference was 25% I would have the Avons.
Probably covered 30000 miles to date on Avons. |
