vin number identification
im sure i seen a thread where you could enter your vin number and get information on your car but cant find it can anyone point me in the right direction please thank you

Yes there was a post on here and someone kindly gave a link to a site where you entered your VIN and and all its build history came up with date and time off the line as i used it myself. I have just tried to find it again but its seems lost. maybe some other kind sole on here will come along with the link again.

I've heard you can get to it via cached copies
Open your Chrome browser and go to the Chrome Web Store. Look for “Web Cache Viewer” extension and install it on your browser. Generally, you can right click any link on a webpage in Google Chrome and choose “Web Cache Viewer” option. You can choose to view the cached page from either Wayback Machine or Google archive.
