Another cambelt request but near Southampton

Hi everyone,

I asked this question some years ago, but I thought it was worth asking again in case something had changed as my cambelts need changing again based on age rather than miles.

Is there anyone you can recommend in the Southampton area or close by that knows what they are doing?

I'm already considering Lates, but that's about 130 miles away. Still may be worth it, but didn't want to make the journey and then find out there's someone 5 miles away. Also, Russell at MG Rover Solutions did it last time, so is on the shortlist, although his website doesn't mention the KV6 anymore.

Any recommendations?

By the way, could it be worth having a list of KV6 cambelt experts on here? This question seems to get asked a lot

Well you've just mentioned the 2 names I was going to say, so I can't add anything, other than to re-assure you that Russel still works on the KV6

My ZT 190+ had its belts done last March at the Beech Hill Garage, between Basingstoke and Reading. Did a very good job with no problem in that department since then.

I too strongly suggest you speak to cb750chris in Fareham. He REALLY helped me with a problem about three weeks ago. Clearly has huge experience , nice chap and very approachable. He is so close to you it just makes sense !

Just for anyone looking to have this work done in the future cb750chris doesn't do KV6 cambelts but can help with many other things (T4 in particular)
