Just seen US V22 Osprey drop into Wattisham. Now I don't see that very often. And they are noisy too. Had wocka-wocka last week too.
An Ospray flew over the house a few months ago, I thought it was going to break the windows it was that loud.

I often get the Apaches from Wattisham flying around this area.

They're based at Mildenhall. Caught a cracking shot of one couple of years back whilst in the Lakenheath viewing area as he traversed the airfield. Very loud he was too.

Apaches fly over me house. Quite often in pairs, last week there were two in convoy with a Chinook (wocka-wocka).

That very point has just been made on LIVE Sky News debate by Ukranian citizens. It was answered with, if we put Uk boots on the ground or impose a No Fly zone it starts WW3.

There were two Osprey flying around Wattisham few weeks ago - I took some shots but it was a dark, dingy, foggy day so the photos reflect this.

We usually see multiple Apache flights daily but nothing for the last 4 days. I guess they are in Europe somewhere.

A Guy I know works at Edinburgh Airport had to fill up two American Jets with Aviation Fuel in the last couple of days.

The troops are currently there in case of humanitarian requirement assistance. I imagine also as support to defend a nato ally.
