See it's hit over $110/barrel despite strategic stocks being released.

Someone's making a bob or two?

I am trying to get the wife out of the habit of putting £40 of fuel in. She used to go once a fortnight but these days it's every week.

These days you might as well fill it, the next time it will be more expensive and as long as you are going to use it in a couple of months it makes sense.

BP & Esso are the worst for putting up the prices in a blink of an eye, and the last to drop the price if they ever do, i have now boycotted both, refuse to use them since the pandemic started.

I can travel four miles down the road and get it cheaper by 10-12p per litre

Same here, my local Esso is about 5p more than my asda, morrisons or tesco, I tend to do a 10 mile round trip to get diesel for mine in the next town!

Where my abode is the Esso Supreme 99+ E5 should be ethanol free according to Esso but that info might have gone bye, bye's with E10 introduction. Still use Supreme 99+ for the 46 year old bangers and have to swallow the higher cost
