Whatever happened to free speech?
It's a bad move and one which could be turned against our govt. I watched RT for two days and whilst not really impartial (guests ect.) they were not a million miles away. It would have been far better to have a warning ribbon/banner saying that opposing views may not necessarily be broadcast!

Oh dear.

Anyway Wattisham seems really busy of late.
Time to take Scampton of the retired list and re-recruit (+ more) the 10,000 boots our penny pinching administration thinks we don't need. £37 billion on Test & Trace and 37p on defence. They call it priorities!

Wasn't actually banned by the UK, banned by the EU and that cut the feed to the UK.

Watched it few times but not much. Found it quite poor in all aspects to be fair.

But where do we draw the line?

They made the Express and Guardian look impressive.

Default UK defence spending

Ref. some posts above.

Whilst we would all like to see increased spending on defence, the situation is not as bad as people may imagine. The UK spends roughly the same as Russia on defence with France and Germany not far behind. By contrast the USA's defence spend is 12 times that of Russia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...y_expenditures

Taking NATO countries as a whole, the defence spending must be more than 15 times that of Russia.

China has the second largest defence budget.

Anyone fancy a cheap football club:

Grab yourself a bargain. Flatten the ground and stick some posh houses on it.

My wife is finding this quite hard to watch, she has friends who have fled from Ukraine to family in France, my wife spent a week in Kyiv back in 2005 to visit said friends for a wedding.
