Not a bad morning here a bit mild and thanks to Gatekeeper and stevestrat for letting me know about CossieDunc, not sure the 75 will make it out to Whitburn with the noise it's making! but will keep him in mind for next time, the mobile mechanic never turned up yesterday, but I had a funny feeling this might have been the case! He says he will turn up today at some point today, but not holding out much hope but last week I had arranged for it to go into a garage I used to use when I had a Mini on Friday down in Port Seaton.

Would that be DD's? Chris, a one man band round the corner from DD's (in the same yard as the mini guys) used to do all my servicing etc but he's more or less retired now, only does light easy jobs, too many years crawling around under cars knackered his back.

People not turning up is becoming a pain in the backside with us too, The place we ordered two beside cabinets from only sent one.....three days later than arranged & promised the other one would be delivered on Monday then Wednesday then Thursday before the days out, Nope nowt

They were C.O.D. so told them to begger off & ordered another one from a different company, Supposed to have arrived on Monday afternoon but nobody turned up again They're saying Thursday now but I've no confidence it'll turn up.

Been sowing some seeds in the greenhouse & thought I might mow the front lawns whilst the grass is dry...ish but that wind is bloomin' cold, I think they can wait for another day when it's a bit warmer.

Early bottle of Henry's today along with enough painkillers to drop a donkey! Sciatica strikes, I was in the greenhouse sowing some more seeds & bent down to get another 20 litre bag of seed compost from under the potting table & bang, I couldn't straighten up & the pain was unbelievable getting back to the house .

I need a lady boy to walk up & down me back in stiletto heels

Just along the road from me, nowhere near Port Seton! Place has changed hands a couple of times since I was last in there. Used them all the time but went right off them years ago. I bought my first 75 from them, sales pitch was "great car", "you'll love it" etc. 75 was off the road for a while (didn't need it), spoke to them about putting it back on the road . . . . tune had changed, oh no, wouldn't keep that, head gasket woes etc. Told me to get it to MOT standard then trade it in for one of the French/Italian shopping trolleys they had on the forecourt. That was a couple of owners ago but I've never been back since.
