Default MOT test date Pass/Fail

Steve,
Can you tell me the reason why you should put the oil filter into the pot, rather than onto the cap?
I’m guessing it’s to ensure the filter is seated correctly within the pot, before torquing up the cap?
Oh...and good stuff with the mot pass😃

Hi Sean.
Yes you are spot on as most filters have an O-ring incorporated, fitting it into the pot first will seat it properly, and it also help guide the cap correctly when fitting that.

Default Mot Pass FL2

Mot pass once again this year for the FL2 no advisories well chuffed, so full 11 years in a row passes, with one advisory which was side step loose due to a bolt not being tight enough, which i spotted when i purchased it in 2017.

Tourer is due in march 2022

Its nice to get the honour of a pass after spending quite a few hours (days) trying to make everything perfect. Well done Steve.

Default MOT pass 13/4/22

Took tourer in early for its MOT and am happy to say passed no advisories, so another 12 months under my wing, tiny bit of bad news though coming back from the test i went down M54 and a lorry threw up a stone and chipped my front screen, hoping to repair it the weekend.

Congratulations, Steve. It must be getting a bit boring to keep passing free of advisories!

Default A clean Pass

Well a pass for the ZT today with zero advisories so delighted. I believe that’s it’s first clean sheet since being recommissioned prior to me buying it so all moving the right way still.
