My sagging roof lining !
The roof lining on the tourer was getting a little untidy.
I wouldn't do it to my V6, but the tourer is more of a workhorse. So, I thought that I would fix it, with this kit supplied by bodgit & leggit. Okay, so it now looks like a tart's boudoir in there, but I can see better out of the windows.

Couldn't you have glued it back in place?

You can try, but I understand the glue tends to show through the fabric too much, plus you need to scrape off all the decaying foam on the fabric and biscuit. I used something like this as a quick fix in my 45 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hemline-h71.../dp/B0032LVZL2. Just poke them into the fabric and then twist into the biscuit. Works, but not quite as aesthetically pleasing as the OPs solution.

I used a multitude of pins such as you use for needlework (well, not you perhaps but SWMBO!). They are invisible but that may be my failing eye sight or that I haven't looked for them! Put the pins through the fabric of the liner at an angle and into the foam rubber stuff underneath.

Thats actually quite smart, might have to do something similar as my headlining in the rear is starting to droop.

Fancy that! My 5 year old just became fascinated with opening his window in the back - which seemed absolutely reasonable till I noticed in my rear view mirror yesterday the roof lining had come away slightly and was flapping a little. Unfortunately I was just going onto a dual carriageway and my daughter on the other side was having a melt down about dropping her teddy. When I looked back a minute later at about 60mph the flapping was now bellowing and my son was being slapped in the face with it! I've ordered some pins on Amazon - see how it goes but may have to buy this tarts boudoir kit if it doesn't come off. Cheers!
