Rover75 rear exhaust heat shield
Morning my rear heat shield over the rear exhaust has disintegrated is it safe to still drive the car thanks

If it's just gone around the bolt heads use repair washers or cut some tin to make repair patches to hold it in place, had to do this on mine

In normal driving probably OK.---At motorway speeds probably not too safe.---

If its a diesel I would not have thought you needed a heat shield beening a lot cooler running engine then the petrol, but what do I know.
