On Thursday Rod had major open surgery. This morning, Rod made contact, he is battered and bruised, the operation was 100% successful and he is very glad he had it done. We wish well for an uneventful and speedy recovery.

Afternoon all, The sun is out but that wind is still strong & lifting the roof panels on the conservatory , I've had the little top windows open in the conservatory & the amount of grit & dust that's blown in is unbelievable

I ordered some (Zero heat) Habernada chilli seeds at the beginning of January from a grower in France as none to be found in blighty, They've just turned up in the post this morning

I've only sown a few as they should have been well under way at this time of year, Might not get any ripe ones but I can save some seed from them for next year.

As Phil says, get professional help, don't sit stewing in your own juices.

LOL I love the smell of them, the taste of them but my plumbing cant stand any sort of heat so this is the best compromise.
I ordered some from Hungary last year with some heritage tomato varieties but they never showed up, The tomato seeds did

Just been doing some weeding with the missus new weed puller upper device that came in the post yesterday, Anything where you don't have to bend down is a bonus these days

It works a treat for the dandilions in the lawns.

I'm all for that!

Just got bl00dy drenched watering the garden! Using the hose with the pistol grip adjustable nozzle, the connector came off it and instead of the hose falling to the ground it propped itself against the wall aimed directly at me By the time I got out of the way I was soaked. Bonus is I don't need a shower tonight.

Evening all
Nice day of not doing much as I'm still on light duties with the damaged bicep.
It is becoming quite colourful though.
