Default Wheel vibration.

Wheel vibration.
Slight vibration coming from the front passenger wheel, can just be felt in the steering wheel, but not significantly.
Disappears when braking, or accelerating. Easing off the accelerator it gets worse.

No vibration when stationary or idling so I can rule out engine mounts.
Like wise it is not the brake discs, brand new discs and pads two weeks ago, and are absolutely fine.

There has for a short while been a slight judder (ish) when turning the extremes of steering, suggesting Lower Suspension Wishbone arm bushes, or track rod ends.

Before jacking the car up, I thought I would post on here first.

It may be as simple as a wheel balance weight having fallen off. Since this came on suddenly, I suspect this may be the first place to start .... else, the above.

Cheers Ian aka Mac

A buckled wheel with low tyre pressure can show itself as vibration.

Has it only happened since the new discs were fitted, or was it there before?

Move the wheel round to a different corner of the car, back, to see if it follows the wheel.

Did you remove the rust on hub to disc mounting area 100 % ?

Suddenly happened two weeks after changing the discs, all rust removed and surfaced cleaned.

Thank you for your suggestions gentlemen, I just wanted to have a few ideas from others before taking a gander.

Removed the passenger wheel, quick look and there was the tell tale sign a balance weight had fallen off, easily sorted
Happy days ... now, where's the beer and deckchair

Hopefully not one that was removed at the last tyre change then.
One other cause came to mind, a bent hub. Easily checked with a clock gauge with the disc removed.
Rare, but I've had it happen.

Change the wheel or have the existing one re-balanced.--Like Mike said the marks you see could be from a weight removed during a tyre change.---

I have an issue with my 03 Connie SE CDTi where yhere is a vibration when idling/ when steering wheel is set to straight ahead. Turning the steering wheel left or right reduces the vibration. Grateful for any advice.
