Default Can Someone Save This Old Lady??

Appreciate that she needs a little mechanical work, but got to be worth saving, surely?

Is the power steering a Known fault on these?

I have not noticed threads about them so wonder if it's a pipe issue. Clutch well that is known and easily costed.

You just wait once I get TGB sorted will be looking for a nice one like this to sort and use and I'll wager we won't be able to find one .

We have the Frontera insured again, needed the towing facility so it's staying for the winter at least, and can borrow a car trailer but as I said when we are ready to start looking the shortage of them will be in full swing .

The problem is I suppose, unless you're buying it to keep, by the time you've done the clutch, power steering pump and no doubt the belts will need doing as well, you've spent £1,100 on a car that's at best worth half that!

It's quite sad really!

Have any of you noticed this White one listed down in Southampton? :-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3007879592...#ht_500wt_1066

"2000 ROVER 75 CLASSIC SE AUTOMATIC. 175K. TAKEN IN AS A PART EXCHANGE. MOT MARCH 2013. NO ROAD TAX. CENTRAL LOCKING REQUIRES ATTENTION. ABS AND AIRBAG LIGHT ON. NO STEREO CODE. "

Again a few problems but I believe nothing that cannot be rectified.
