Door mirror glass falling off
The glass in my door mirror has started falling off. The motor unit is still connected to the mirror complete with cables so it just dangles down.
It looks as though the motor unit should just push on to some pegs on the back unit but I suspect that the clips on it have snapped. Is there a way of getting the glass off to examine the motor unit more closely? I imagine that if the clips are broken I could glue it back on if I can get the mirror off and back on again. I could try putting glue on the remains of the broken clips but it would be easier if I could get at it better. I see that there are bullet and skull cap types. Mine doesn't really look like a bullet or a skull cap! It is a 53 Feb 2004 model. Which type is it likely to have? |

Search the How To setion, I think there are How To's for removing the mirror.
If not sure, add a picture and someone will tell you which mirror type you have macafee2 |
