Default Pedal Box removal

Sorry to ask lads but cant find any info. Is the pedal box easy to remove and refit. Just waiting for a heater blower to turn up so I can fit it in the bosses car.

Seem to rember seeing something on here about it but for the life of me I cant find it now.

Cheers

as i understand i need to remove it to replace a heater (blower) fan. I am going to to this on someone elses car so do feel a bit nervous about removing it as it the main controls of the vehicle.

Now as far as i understand its an easy job but would just like some clarifercation (is that a real word) so that i dont F... it up.

cheers andy

The manual does state that the pedal box does indeed have to come out. That in itself is a mountain of work.

Are you sure that blower is faulty and not the resistor pack or fuse ?

See here http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=54748

Yes mate we have tested the resistor pack in a R45 as it was different one to the one in my car (ATC).

Tried all the fuses and relays all pointed to heater blower so fed a live feed to to it while it was still in place and nothing so the boss has ordered a replacement blower which has turned up so going to fit it for him.

Which sounds like fun!!!!

I take it there is now way round getting it out without taking pedals out?

cheers

I would have a go at trying to squeeze it out before removing the pedals.
