Didn't have much time, but as she is a fairly new acquisition I thought I'd stick to a couple of easy but important bits. Managed to get the bonnet release mod done and plenum drains checked and cleaned, but luckily they were clear anyway. Fitted some new tailgate struts too....... those things weigh a ton with no help from the struts! Secured the rear lights as the fixings have seen better days, as usual. Has anyone tried to clean their nearside rear light unit, as the diesel ones always seem to be a bit blackened???

Well quite productive in the time I had. So that's four things off the to do list, many many other things to go!

I had a half day at work so I popped back to Hartlepool to collect some post...

Pre project drive tourer tool tray inserts for the loadspace.
Powerflex bushes for my lower mount.
2 new rear shocks.
Carpeted heater matrix enclosure panels.
A box I haven't opened yet so could be my new springs.

And a few other bits and bobs so I'm a happy bunny...

EDIT:

Wrong thread...that's what I did lol

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE
