Thanks guys. Jens been quite weak since coming out of hospital and has needed a lot of help around the house but was recovering as well as could be expected. However, in the last few days she has found moving around very difficult and this morning, she became quite weak and unstable, struggling to even sit up on her own or even stand. Awaiting for the medics now but suspect this is the way it’s going to be
Happy days eh?

Nobby, best wishes to you both.

Pete, many thanks for organizing today's meet, and I apologize to those I didn't get to speak to. Some interesting observations on the cars, the Club and the forum.

Some people do travel some miles don't they?

I hope everything turns out okay - things must be very stressful for you at the moment. You were missed at the meet, but we all guessed there must be a sound reason for your absence, so no need to worry on that front.

If it's any consolation, you didn't miss much in terms of the food. Shiner had to reject his 1st "Big Breakfast", as it only had 1 sausage instead of the required 2. They happily replaced it for him, but the replacement had no sausages at all! Subsequent to that, Peter kindly informed the waitress that half of the diners had no bacon on their plates. It wasn't the Ely's finest hour and Peter is considering other venues for future meets in this area.

I missed all of that, too busy talking clay bars and polishers with John and Keith .

Photos will follow just as soon as I've sorted them and uploaded to Flickr.

Oh, and many thanks to Peter for his usual expertise, organising the morning in his usual calm and cheerful manner .

Cliff

Cool

Clean run back to Saltash in less than 4 hours. Now eating dinner with Allen n Val.
Many thanks for putting the meet together Peter. Perhaps we should re-name the breakfast meet to "Shiner's Lucky Dip Breakfast Meet".

Thanks to both Pete and Fred regarding the advice about me visiting my late brothers resting place. Sound advice that.

Glad Keith likes the cushions.

Nobby I do hope your good lady recovers soon.

Nice to meet everyone else as well.

Cruising altitude not known but with a tail wind we got to Warp Factor Actros a few times. Those fluffy roundabout clouds slowed us a few times. From the Ely to touchdown in Saltash was three hours and 20 minutes.

That's pretty good going, I think I was still trying to get out of the B & Q car park when you got there.
