Default Safe for another year

Well took the old girl for this years mot and she passed all ok again she now has 123.K on the clock still runs well uses no oil and touch wood no water not bad for a 1.8
no money has had to be spent over the last year however the bonnet catch has started to play up so have booked her in to apple MG in Meophen to cure this problem .and hopefully 1 more year unless i can find a nice cdti.

If the bonnet catch is playing up, it is likely a bit of spray grease will sort it out. I am imagining the thing is a bit stiff to operate. I spray a little on the bonnet lever a couple of times a year, and put a dollop of copper slip on the springs and location pins to keep everything nice and free.
