Default Thanks Stocktake and BigRuss..

The failing drivers side door locking mechanism was replaced with ease and works perfectly now.If any member has tried fitting one of these, they will know exactly how awkward it is..I had a big enough job removing the unit from the donor vehicle.

I have a few pictures of the procedure and will perhaps compile a 'how to' at a later date.

BigRuss also plugged in the T4 for a later upgrade to be applied to the car.

Again thanks guys,it was am absolute pleasure and your welcome to sunny Garforth anytime.

I'm not looking forward to doing mine, once I source a drivers door one, already got the rear door drivers side one ready to go, but can't face it.

A "How To" would be lovely.

If your ever my way we can do it together matey, it's just knowing what goes where. Should have seen Pabs face trying to see, let alone get a picture of the clip you may have to remove if you have to remove the complete handle, all depends if you can get the white clip off......

i'll let Pab explain

Done a couple now... last one took me ten mins from the panel off, part out, part in and panel back on. I was really impressed with myself! First time took over an hour as a clip dropped into the door.

Chris there are a few 75s in my local breakers yards Pringle's and Marshall's, all have intact bodies, not sure if the inards of the doors have gone yet though, Pring has 2x 75s and 1x zt, Marshalls has2x75s,1 of which was completely intact,as of a couple of weeks ago.
