Afternoon Derek - as you say, not a nice day. However, it was good to see so many people who turned out on a foul day to say their goodbyes to a genuinely good bloke. His wife Carol insisted on standing in the doorway of the church as we left, and shaking hands with EVERY member of the congregation

Android phones are dirt cheap in Kenya on pay-as-you-go. How do they fare for virus atracks? Cheers
I have had iPhones since they came out and find IOS is easily the best operating system in MY OPINION I used Android for 3 months after a chance meeting with a swimming pool and lack of insurance on my iPhone 4 I honestly couldn't get on with the android platform at all, maybe that's just because I've always used Apple I'd do as Jeff suggests and have a play with the models you are looking at before buying anything though

Been out to a funeral this morning (the Club member who was hit hy a car and knocked into the river). Huge turnout at Church, and around 70 to 80 came back to the Club for a drink, a nibble and "a celebration of the life of an English gentleman" afterwards.
Now back home, and in view of the weather, I ain't venturing outside the house again until it improves.
Sounds like he had a great send off

I'm looking forward to the toast we give Vic at the Fellows on Thursday

Nice one on the motty pass I think Tony once described the rear springs on these cars perfectly when he said they were made of dry toast or something lol.

What a horrible day, still raining horizontally & it's not half whistling the chimney.

one of ASDA's deep filled steak & kidney pies with potato wedges for tea tonight.

edit: how can I forget the mushy peas.
