Morning all - well, it is still morning isn't it
Intermittent sun today - and definitely warm whilst it's shining.
Sat up last night ('til 1.20am this morning!) watching 'The Mothman Phrophecies' after the football on BBC 1 - kept hoping it would get better but it didn't really
Quiet week coming up - no school duties for grandkids this week, a meeting with the brewery rep. on Wednesday - and that's about it. Perhaps I'll treat it as a week's holiday

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Right Jeff - the best answer to a sore throat is the Northern one:-
  1. Get yourself down the butchers and buy a large piece of trip
  2. Atttach a piece of string to one end of the tripe
  3. Stand upright
  4. Lean your head as far back as you can, so that you are looking at the ceiling
  5. Open mouth wide (as if the dentist [sorry Phil] was about to get stuck in)
  6. Slip tripe straight down throat
  7. Using mixture of gravity (down) and the piece of string (up) lubricate throat with the tripe
Please bear in mind this only works with uncooked tripe

The advantage of this treatment is that after you've lubricated your throat, you can cook the tripe (with plenty of onions added) for dinner

LOL Rod

I am struggling on trying to fight my addiction and just take things a day at a time. Its frustrating but also a learning process, if that makes sense.

Still I have a smile on my face

As long as you can still smile - you're on the right path Jay
