My early fusebox wiring diagram shows fuse 12 (10 amps) for the rear sunblind. Fuse 8 (5 amps) is the auxiliary supply to the BCU. Simon

It certainly is odd I'll get a photo tomorrow as I have the rave discs for both early and late cars and from how it appears on the computer that the early cars had a different fuse box and later cars have the mini blade fusebox but also on the later disc there is 2003 wiring diagram info and also 2004 wiring diagram info. Haven't gone into detail on the 2004 diagrams as that was missing the sunblind option on the drop down menu weirdly.
Either way thanks for the info Simon, your input certainly saved further head scratching trying to work stuff out. Thanks Rob |

Thank you for posting a very clear answer Simon, something I may need to do in the future, when I manage to get a 75. |

Hopefully the two photos will show the below.
Early NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- blade fuse type box appears to be fuse 2 10amp and as Sd1too states is for PDC sunblind etc On the later cars from 2003 with the introduction of the mini blade type fuse box... This now becomes fuse 8 on a 5amp fuse. Unless I'm overlooking something? My wife's saloon has the mini blade fuse box on an 03 plate, but wired up as per the early rave disc and so early fuse 2 10amp arrangement. Rob Sent from my moto g13 using Tapatalk |

This is very odd isn't it Rob. You and I appear to have wiring diagrams showing different fuse numbers for both the early and later fuseboxes. Your diagrams: early = fuse 2, later (mini fuses) = fuse 8. My diagrams: early = fuse 12, later (mini fuses) = fuse 2. Mine's an early car so I'll have to burrow in the passenger footwell to see if the reality matches the theory and report back. Thanks for the diagrams Rob. Simon
