top spec low mileage 2.5 tourer wanted
Hi,
although I have owned 2 cdti's since 2008, Irish import rules have drastically changed so imported older diesels are hit with a massive Nox charge. So I am thinking of buying a 2.5 V6 instead. Am I mad as I know they don't seem to be as reliable as the cdti but tbh I dont have much choice unless I change to a different car brand. thanks Ian |

Take a look at this Ian - it looks like a beauty... If it was a 1.8 it would be mine!!

Not mad, instead very wise because in the end there are not much cars who can compete with the combination of the good points of the 75's. And, the 2,5 V6 are very reliable motors with great qualities. So, let us please know which one you have bought when you have found the one. There are several fine ones for sale I have seen. Good luck and enjoy the drive.

I’d go for a classic mk1 75 PPD with all the bells and whistles.
Moonstone or BRG with deep sea green or sandstone would be my preference.
