Erm Hacksaw is the only way I know if cables have already corroded through. I wrote a HOWTO saw through the bonnet pins without damaging bumper or bonnet last year if some retired member can find it?! I'm busy in workshop till about Midnight tonight.

Bit more info here.
But basically you need a new hacksaw blade and masking tape to protect paintwork http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=109741 I still haven't prepared the photos yet (lack of time) maybe Arctic could do one of his very good articles on the subject ?!
