Roof joint finishers ?
The black strips running fore and aft each side of my saloon's roof - finisher assy. roof joint according to Rimmers.
Can some kind person please tell me what they are made of and what original finish was applied? The reason I ask is that I would like to have them powder coated in satin black as I have just had this process applied to the door finishers and am very pleased with the result. Also, how difficult are they to remove? Thanks, David. |

Hi David, I believe they are stainless steel, you have to lever them upwards to remove them, you will break a couple of clips when doing so as they are notoriously fragile!

Thanks Andy. I'll order some spare clips and perhaps you would be good enough to remove the roof finishers for me when you have the dorchester for its service etc,?
Cheers, David. |
