Two opposite end reactions;
1) People cannot believe its my car. Go on how they feel like royalty/posh when passengers in it. Really really positive. Then the bad one 2) Why did you buy that? Its such an old mans car. Where do you put your pipe and slippers? Shall I call the RAC for you now? Do you need a push? Rovers are built in China now. Its such a copy of a Jaguar (inevitably they can never actually say what Jaguar). Rover are bust. Take the good with the bad I guess. But those original Rover adverts were spot on. Things should be black or white. But never grey. Be bold. Stand out. Cross the line, get off the fance. Its better to provoke a reaction than none at all. Its far better for somebody to love something than for everybody just to like it. |

I got the Jag bits and the how much are you paid question regularly (although I bought her when it was a car with a "normal" price), but the most funny one: Are you sure it's not a V8 cos we don't hear the engine and all this quiet

1. "Aren't Rover bust now" -- (Ahem where have you been for the last ten years?")
2. Old Mans Car........Well, let me floor it and see.......(as I grin perversly as the 2.0l v6 Kicks in) 3. You can't get parts for that now (actually thats true, I am having a hell of a time getting the bleedin Elbow pipe that goes next to the thermostat housing lol) 4. Is that a Jag? (NOOOOOOOOO IT ISNT A JAG YOU IMBECILE !!!!!!!! ) 5. Oh its Baby Blue ( AAAAARGH Its Wedgewood you Ignoramus !!!!) But on a positive note, its nice to see my neighbours son and his friends admire how clean my car is, they always remark on its "As new" appearance
