Cooked it tonight and very nice the steak was
Fries are nothing special but for that price you can't grumble!

Cool

Good morning everyone.

Rained yesterday and it’s raining this morning.

Off out to lunch today with various forum members and friends. New pub to try out in Quintrell Downs. I’m taking Banana for a run.

Morning Bob and all,

It's been raining here since the early hours too. Looks like it is here for the day!

Just put a gammon joint in the slow cooker for tonight's dinner.

Will finish it off in the oven with a honey & Mustard glaze

Morning Ian,

I'm going to get some more to put in the freezer. The fries are nothing special but even without them two steaks for £4.00 can't be sniffed at

Morning, damp after overnight rain.

Ging sent me a message about 11pm last night, can I make spring rolls for tonight . . . . err, no! Don't have any of the makings in the house, the nearest shop that sells the wrappers doesn't open til about 11 on a Sunday, by the time I go out, get everything and get home it'll be 1 or 2pm. Not enough time as the filling has to be prepared, cooked and allowed to cool before making the actual rolls then frying them.

What's the 'Plan B' instead?
