You are in the wrong part of the country Jeff, snow is falling on high ground in the north and west of Scotland.

According to our local weather girl on the BBC we may get a few flakes over the next few days but nothing likely to settle!

Seeing Derek's comments about bumping into folks and chatting - how many of you still say 'good morning' or similar to unknown people in the street?

I still do, and on the whole, usually get a friendly response - but I have to say I'm a bit wary of the age group I greet. Whether it's a sad sign of the times or what, I don't greet younger people - fear of misinterpretation perhaps?

Good morning all hope you are all well?
Ive just sorted out the washer jet on my dads launch car-What a pain its taken me the best part of an hour to do.

Now I have just received a foglight for my dads launch car so ill fit that before we go on a jolly tomorrow

It is a great shame that the community spirit seems to have all but disappeared.
The world is a poorer place to live in I feel these days
