I once jumped off the pier in Llandudno.

Changed front discs and pads, sorted out a broken headlight washer, fitted new wiper blades, I now have an annoying intermittent o/s headlight leveler not working.. any ideas.

The wiring to the headlight can chafe on the seam of the chassis leg just beneath. Chances are you have a shorting connection.

Finally got the engine out, separated the gearbox and pulled the broken slave out, well what was left of it.
Also found a possible coolant leak spot, something very hard to find with the engine in situ.
