'bulb out' warning light
my 'bulb out' warning light came on today- i've waited for dark to check and i cant find any lights off ????? any suggestions....over to you clever techy people

I'd say check brake lights, and compare them carefully, as IIRC the ECU will make the rear tail light mimic the brake light

Indicators are also difficult to spot sometimes plus don't forget fullbeam and fog lights

Doesn't it always come up and tell you what Bulb and side it is on the display?

For me, its always been the number plate lights. then the next time I check them they are working fine again.

also check your headlight looms for chafing if you are still scratching your head....

If its convenient and safe. Stop the car when you get the warning and have your lights on - leave the engine and all switches as they are and get out to check. I'd certainly go for the numberplate light first.
