Fitted inner tie rods and track rod ends today, also had an advisory last year for a worn wheel bearing, I had to resort to redneck removal of the stake nut as it was a 36mm nut that had been fitted and my 36mm socket wouldn’t go into the hub. Strangely I couldn’t find an issue with the bearing?!?

Picked my new 75 connie se up.

Regreased rear blind, cleaned mirror control contacts, checked boot for signs of water, results were great, did plenum check, cleaned satnav disc and works perfectly.

Will do Dave, I have them on the rear, I've moved the conti's to the front, they've been on the back of 2 of my cars, I bought them 2 years ago and there's about 5mm still on them.

After giving the Connie a good wash yesterday, I have polished it today, and I must say it looks good. Cannot wait to get it on the road. I am wondering if I can get it taxed without an m.o.t.? I would not take it on the road if I thought it would not pass an mot, but I think because the tax was up last September along with the m.o.t., and it is on sorn, I think it has to have an mot first? Any ideas anyone?

Yes, will need a new MOT to get it back on the road.

So today I went to the scrap yard, looking for an engine tray as the guys that did my Slave cylinder have seemed to of misplaced it.....Go back on Tuesday to see what the story is....

So I got a couple of D-Pillar pre project drive ones and a leather handbrake cover, and found two 2.0 cdt torpedo badges. NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- home and found out that I had left them on the boot of the scrapped 75
Back up on Tuesday as its a bank hol here this weekend.

I don't get how garages can misplace an undertray! they are not exactly small!
