Nice to have a horn now rather than a little parp....
I bought some cheap'n'loud twin horns off ebay ages ago. Asked Astraeus to fit them, but he said no room under the bonnet Need to find an appropriate shoe horn! Or buy smaller horns...

Gave up on some cheap Chinese ordered battery powered water gun - is probably yet another Chinese scam! So ordered a Worx one off Amazon instead - no six week wait, should be here in two days Can't seem to stop spending money on this car...it had better be good to me and pass the next MOT!

Hi Dave. What were you doing there? I tell you what I found when I changed the aircon rad. Loads of rubbish compacted into the oil cooler and behind the condenser. Needed to be scraped off and then vacuumed out of the water rad. Hope you and Karen are ok.

HI Mark.
Colour looks good I presume you did both sides I found that the tail gate seemed to open & close better after the preventive mod, could be placebo effect though
Yes, I did both sides, one less thing to worry about

I think the Jules mod cover is on the cards.

Also re gapped my spark plugs down to 0.75mm, the stutter it has under full throttle has improved, but it’s still there slightly. TBH the plugs look like they would benefit from being replaced so I’ll order some and try them at 0.6mm.

Checked the boost solenoid connections they seem fine. I do have a new one order anyway as they aren’t expensive.
NGK BKR6ES gapped at .6 are good in an 1800T.

They are a slightly hotter plug than the standard ones, and gapped at .6 reduce spark blow out under boost.

Had a bit of a clear out in the shed/garage this morning, as I might be moving my 75 on soon. See the members spares for sale section for what I have unearthed.

Cheers

Removed HiLine head unit and associated boot modules as 3 times this week the video refused to come up, but when it warmed up, turned off then back on it would work, so guessing there may be some corrosion or dry joints in the video module, so they will be getting stripped down tonight and getting going over with a microscope and a a reflow.

Refitted front bumper after yesterday’s work.
Done the bonnet cable splitter box mod.
Removed ipk and started to dismantle to have a pdc sounder fitted.
Got cold feet when it came to removing the dial pointers.
Having not done this before I made a judgement call that I was more likely to break something 🤭, so stopped and reassembled.😞
